- September 22, 2021 N&V: Parent-Guardian Permission Packet sent home with students.
- September 27, 2021 N&V: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons. Signed permission form should be returned to teacher by this date.
- October 21, 2021 N&V: Teachers must submit their nominee’s campaign video, entry forms, and media release forms to CTDC by 5:00pm (must be received by this date and time).
- October 25, 2021 V-O: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons.
- October 29, 2021: Statewide Election Candidates announced and voting information posted at CT.KidGovernor.org.
- November 1-9, 2021: Statewide Election!
- November 17-19, 2021: Live announcement of the elected 2022 Kid Governor (tentative).
- January 21, 2022: Inauguration Day at Connecticut’s Old State House. The snow date is January 28, 2022. The 2022 Kid Governor, Cabinet Members, and their classes attend in person (if safe for in-person gatherings). Participating classes can watch live online.
