- September 24, 2026 N&V: Parent-Guardian Permission Packet sent home with students. Download in English or Spanish.
- September 28, 2026 N&V: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons. Signed permission form should be returned to teacher by this date.
- October 22, 2026 N&V: Teachers must submit their nominee’s campaign video and Entry Forms to CTDC by 5:00pm (must be received by this date and time).
- October 26, 2026 V-O: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons.
- October 30, 2026: Statewide Election Candidates announced and voting information posted at CT.KidGovernor.org.
- November 2-10, 2026: Statewide Election!
- November 16-20, 2026: Live announcement of the elected 2027 Kid Governor (date TBA).
- January 22, 2027: Inauguration Day at Connecticut’s Old State House. The 2027 Kid Governor, Cabinet Members, and their classes attend in person and participating classes can watch live online! The snow date is January 29, 2027.
