The Connecticut Democracy Center is excited to provide FREE Voting Kits to the first 300 classes that register for Connecticut’s Kid Governor® 2023-24!
This year’s Voting Kits will include:
- Voting in Elections by Amy Kortuem to read as a class!
- Sites, Seals, and Symbols courtesy of the Office of the Secretary of the State!
- Kid Governor balloons and a ballot box! (assembly instructions enclosed)
- Copies of the Analyzing Campaign Videos packet to help each student decide who they will vote for!
- Printed copies of this year’s Statewide Election ballot and a pencil for each student to use when voting!
- “I Voted for Connecticut’s Kid Governor” stickers and a button for each student after they cast their vote!
- A certificate to recognize your class’ participation in the 2023 Statewide Election!
We hope that these items will get you and your class in the spirit of the Statewide Election!
