5th Graders Are Learning About State Government!

Students are learning about Connecticut’s three branches of government with some help from members of each branch! Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, State Senator George Logan, and Chief Justice Richard Robinson share their experiences with students during the first lesson of Connecticut’s Kid Governor. 2020 CTKG Myra Wraps Up Her Virtual Library Circuit with Wallingford and Killingly Public Libraries

Throughout September, 2020 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Myra Stanfield virtually visited six libraries across the state. During her visits to West Hartford Public Library, Danbury Public Library, The Ferguson Library in Stamford, Bristol Public Library, Wallingford Public Library, and Killingly Public Library, CTKG Myra was able to answer questions from her constituents, interact with views watching live, and talk about her platform and the program.
