Welcome to Inauguration Day 2021! During this virtual event, Connecticut’s 5th grade students will observe the transition of power between the 2020 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Myra Stanfield and 2021 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Reese Naughton. Throughout the day, students will be able to watch the swearing in of CTKG Reese and her Cabinet by Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise Merrill; participate in a Q&A session with elected officials; test their knowledge with a civics trivia challenge and more.
